Roosevelt Smith, CSHM

Roosevelt Smith joined Tetra Technologies in September 1993. He has 34 years of HSE experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, paint manufacturing, construction and oil & gas production. Roosevelt's resume includes such positions as IADC Rig Pass Instructor, Master level instructor for PEC, Chairman of Safe-land USA (a conglomerate of Major and Independent E&P operators), President of Stamp (Safety Training Administration Managements process), President of NSMS (National Safety Management Society), and 8 years on the WSO Board (World Safety Organization). Roosevelt holds a Bachelors of Science and is currently a Certified Safety & Health Manager (CSHM), Safety Executive and a Master level Safety Instructor.

Response: I would like to be a member of the ISHM Board because I believe that we have a challenge to do everything we can to make Safety everyone's responsibility. I feel confident that working on the ISHM Board, we can meet the new challenges.

Response: I have 35+ years' experience in Health & Safety that I believe will enhance the organization.
