Vacancy Announcement for Managing Director’s Position

Phillip Mueller, Managing Director of ISHM has notified the Board of Directors of his plans to retire. The Board would like to find a replacement no later than June 30, 2007. If you have an interest, or know someone that might be a good candidate, please contact the ISHM office by phone or email.

Phillip Mueller and Annette Humphreys are now managing the office. The average workweek is about 30 hours, with a peak season running from July through September. During late July the process of invoicing members, processing payments and sending out renewal cards is at the highest level of the year.

The person selected as Managing Director will not be considered an employee of ISHM. Compensation includes a monthly fee plus reimbursable expenses. The Managing Director will be expected to attend ISHM Board of Director’s meetings, (about 2 per year) and coordinate teleconferences upon request.

Applications must be received at the national office: 2004 Hatton Ct., Columbia, MO 65203 no later than May 10, 2007.

Interested candidates will need a minimum of three references from people knowledgeable of the applicants work. Those applicants deemed most qualified by the Board, will be required to have an interview, with the location and manner agreed upon by the applicant and the ISHM Board of Directors.
