BOARD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS Highlights from the Board of Directors Meeting-February 24, 2007 Replacement of Managing Director-Phil Mueller is retiring and a replacement is being sought for the position. The Board discussed advertising the position and orientation of the selected person by Phil. Continuance of Certification Tom Slavin discussed planning for the end of the first cycle of certifications. All paperwork for those certificants is due by March 31, 2009. Budget 2007 The Treasurer, Margie Kolbe-Mims, with the assistance of Managing Director, proposes a budget for each year. That budget submission has been delayed this year, but should be implemented before the end of March. Examinations Exams are currently scheduled for Fort Myers in April, Las Vegas in May, in the Northeast, Chicago, and possibly San Antonio. Exact dates and locations will be posted on the ISHM website. Elections The following Board members terms are expiring this year, Margie Kolbe-Mims, Eric Van Fleet and Andrew Sorine. Applications from our members to fill these positions are welcome. Accreditation The Board was informed that a resubmission of our application for accreditation has been made. We should learn the results by the end of April. Congratulations to our New ASHM
