Meet the Board Members!
Kathy Bruss
 Kathy is among the original elected members of the ISHM Board of Directors. The term began in 2002 and ends in 2009. Kathy serves as Secretary when Nancy Moorhouse is unable to attend Board Meetings; she has proctored exams for the CSHM, and managed the ISHM exhibit booth in Atlanta during the 2004 AIHA Conference.
Kathy is the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for Avery Dennison, serving in that capacity since 2000. Before she began her career with Avery Dennison, she worked for a number of years with Moore North America, which is a worldwide printing company. Her time with Moore North America provided her with the opportunity to work in numerous locations, including Australia.
Kathy is a member of ASSE and NSMS. She received her B.S. in Psychology and English from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater and most recently received certificates for various levels of Six Sigma Training.
Nancy Moorhouse
 Nancy is among the original elected members of the ISHM Board of Directors. The term began in 2002 and ends in 2009. She serves as Secretary for the Board of Directors.
An employee of Teichert Construction of Sacramento, CA since 1984, Nancy became Vice President, Director of Safety for the company in 2003. In 1986, she received her Masters in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento.
Nancy holds several certificates including: CSHM, Certified Safety Professional, Occupational Safety and Health Technologist, Associate in Loss Control Management and several more. In 2002 she received recognition as AGC of California Safety Professional of the year
