Partnership with Compliance Magazine
During December 2004, ISHM completed an agreement with Compliance Magazine that will be mutually beneficial to both organizations. Benefits to ISHM members include:
- Free subscription to Compliance Magazine, which is published monthly (members will receive an email offering this service)
- A 10% discount for ISHM members that sign-up for Audio Conferences (ISHM members will receive notices of the Audio Conferences via email)
- Members participating in the Audio Conferences will receive CEU's (amount to be determined and reported back to all CSHM's)
- CSHM's will be able to take quizzes in each month's magazine and receive .1 CEU per quiz.
Additionally, Compliance Magazine and ISHM will exchange promotional materials for use at conference exhibits.
There is an Audio Conference scheduled for April 26, 2005 at 1:30pm-3:00pm. The title is "Conducting a Compliance Health and Safety Audit." This conference is aimed at helping organizations achieve better safety and health performance through the understanding of the use of audits and the application of the findings.
